The MechFiber400+ is ideal for the larger operator requiring higher work rates, higher capacity, durability and trouble-free operation. It has a heavy duty 4-chain drive system and a capacity of 10 tonnes.
Tandem axles are fitted as standard and for utmost manoeuvrability steering axles are optional (with 3,000mm steering axle). The heavy duty chassis is designed to give the driver improved weight transference and improved stability when travelling at road speeds.
The four-chain drive system is designed to extend the working life of the machine. This is all achieved by shortening the drive ratio on each individual chain and returning the drive to the auger with an independent chain. All four chains are tensioned by a spring assembly.
The four-chain drive system operates in an oil bath keeping all chains lubricated to their optimum levels for safety and longevity. The oil is constantly fed to the chains through a series of strategically placed channels and recycled back to the oil bath. This further improves the dissipation of heat and increases the working life of the chains.
For ease of maintenance ‘central greasing’ is fitted as standard to the MechFiber400+. An 18-port manifold allows you to grease those hard-to-reach bearings quickly and easily from one single point.
The MechFiber400+ can be supplied with the latest Baleblend bale chopping technology. Big round or square bales of forage placed directly on the machine’s top cradle are chopped and incorporated into the ration in a matter of minutes.
Image shown has extra wide feed-out, which is not standard
The MechFiber350+ sets new standards in ration mixing, combining KEENAN’s unique MechFiber technology with high capacity. It will feed approximately 100 cows in a single load. This mixer is ideal for medium to large scale farms. With its higher auger, position feeding into high troughs or barriers is done with ease. It comes with or without Bale Blending technology. There are a variety of optional extras that can also be chosen.
This latest generation KEENAN mixing system uses six angled paddles rotating at just 7rpm. A new knife design and greater clearance at the ends of the paddle arms allows material to move freely, to further improve mixing.
The MechFiber350+ can be easily towed with a 90 HP tractor. To drive the mixer, when loaded, requires approximately half this power delivering substantial savings in overall fuel consumption (and often size of tractor) compared with other mixers. The machine has a simple two-chain drive system.
KEENAN’s simple two-chain drive system has an unbeatable track record of reliability. A primary drive chain and three sprockets transmit power to the auger and idler. A second sprocket powers the much larger paddle sprocket.
An automatic oiling system can be fitted and is operated by the hydraulic rams opening and closing the guillotine door. This delivers ‘pulses’ of oil to the drive chains, lubricating them to the optimum levels for safety and improved chain life.
The KEENAN ProMix is an industrial machine developed for high throughput industrial applications, and incorporates patented mixing, control and management technologies. Preserving the original KEENAN philosophy of simplicity in design and ease of use and maintenance, the KEENAN ProMix has the flexibility to be built for a wide range of applications.
The design features of the KEENAN ProMix with high gearing and low revolutions per minute (RPM) ensures a low power requirement, helping to keep running costs low. Gentle mixing using the patented paddle design ensures delicate ingredients maintain their structure and a homogeneous blend is guaranteed in each load. A central greasing point serves to lubricate all key drive components, and ensures the machine is correctly maintained at all times, delivering a long working life.
The KEENAN Orbital Spreader is a versatile heavy duty spreader. It is capable of high work rates, trouble-free operation and can be used for farm or commercial waste.
Large capacity with even spread over 20m and short emptying time - between 1.5 to 5 minutes
Strawy muck, industrial sludge, farmyard & poultry manure
Variable speed of rear door gives full control and consistent application rates
Large wheels and weight transfer of materials from back axle to drawbar reduces impact on land
Heavy-duty single drive chain, hardened wear plates - parts are in no contact with waste materials
Slurry door, hydraulic brakes and electronic boost for faster load compaction
The KEENAN VA3 range has three different models, ranging in size from 36 -44 cubic metres to meet the feeding demands of the largest dairy and beef units globally.
Fittted with three augers, this range of vertical feeders are longer and narrower than their VA2 counterparts, and come with a range of feedout options. All machines in the KEENAN VA3 range are supplied as standard with the In Touch controller, guaranteeing an optimal TMR through precise loading and mixing times.
The KEENAN VA2-33 is the largest of the twin auger models and is designed to cope with the most demanding of applications on farm. Built to feed large numbers of animals, the control of on farm feeding operations with the In Touch feed management technology ensures mix quality is never compromised. Similar to other models in the range, feed out options can be adapted to suit individual farms.
The KEENAN VA2-30 is a heavy-duty machine with the capacity to feed large herds quickly. Multiple feed-out options to suit a variety of feeding situations are available with this machine. This applies to the full range of the KEENAN VA machines.
