Dr. Colm Moran is the chief regulatory officer at Alltech, based in Marseille, France.
Moran has worked in the feed industry for more than 23 years and has extensive experience in zootechnical studies for the registration of feed additives for livestock and poultry species.
Moran graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from the University of Wales, Cardiff, and three master’s degrees in food biotechnology, food regulatory affairs, and brewing and distilling – from the University of Strathclyde, the University of Ulster/University College Dublin, and Heriott-Wyatt University, respectively. He also has a Ph.D. in fermentation microbiology from the University of Plymouth. Moran has published more than 70 peer-reviewed articles in his subject area. He has received two international patents and has presented at numerous international conferences.
Moran serves on the board of directors for the International Feed Industry Federation (IFIF).
