Jorge Delgado is an on-farm specialist at Alltech, where he focuses on empowering dairy workers for the benefit of the entire industry.

Originally from Ecuador, Delgado comes from a family of dairy farmers. Before joining Alltech, he offered consulting, sales and training services for an Ecuadoran genetic company and also served as a herd manager for multiple dairies in the United States. He has also worked with Elanco’s Dairy Training Program.

Delgado received a bachelor’s degree in agriculture and dairy science from EARTH University in Costa Rica. He and his family currently live in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Terran Ronne has been with Alltech since 2015 and previously served as the company’s Midwest marketing specialist and Western U.S. marketing manager. She is former president of the National Agri-Marketing Association’s Northern Prairie chapter and served as the treasurer of its board for four years. Ronne holds an undergraduate degree in public relations and journalism from North Dakota State University and a master’s degree in agriculture from Murray State University. She is based in the Alltech office in Brookings, South Dakota.

Chloe Chisholm is the content manager for the Technology Group at Alltech. In this role, she is responsible for planning and delivering compelling content for all technologies and services in collaboration with the Technology Group marketing leads and wider Alltech creative team. Chloe has been with Alltech since 2022, previously supporting the Mycotoxin Management team as a digital marketing specialist. Chloe holds a degree in English language and literature from Brighton University and is based in Stamford, U.K.

Steve Elliott serves as global vice president, corporate accounts and pet, at Alltech. Prior to this role, Elliott was Alltech’s global director of the mineral management and enzyme divisions. He has worked with Alltech for nearly 30 years.

Elliott sits on the executive board of the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) and also serves on its equine committee. He is an active member of the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists (ARPAS). Elliott has authored or co-authored numerous articles for professional journals and trade publications about trace mineral status and how it can affect the well-being of animals and local populations. His current research focuses on the various ways that organic trace minerals — and selenium in particular — can improve the health and performance of modern livestock.

Elliott holds an undergraduate degree in animal science and a graduate degree in nutrition from the University of Florida.

Liana Dobler is Alltech’s Spanish and Portuguese Communications Manager globally. She is responsible for communications strategy, including content management and social media, for all Spanish and Portuguese stakeholders.

Liana has been with Alltech for 17 years, beginning as a sales assistant in Alltech Brazil. Her journey later led her to Alltech Argentina where she served in a regional capacity as Latin America Communications Manager. Liana relocated to Spain in 2022.

Dr. Randall Johnson has more than 40 years of experience as a consultant to the pet food, livestock feed and aquaculture industries. A registered professional animal scientist, Dr. Johnson regularly offers advisory services for the Pet Food Institute’s Nutrition Task Force, as well as its International Trade and Regulatory Affairs committees.

Dr. Johnson is a diplomate of the American College of Animal Nutrition. He has previously served on the staff of the University of Missouri, where he also completed a post-doctoral fellowship, and as an adjunct associate professor in the Arizona State University School of Agribusiness and Environmental Resources.

Tara Tiller is the global project manager of corporate accounts and companion animals for Alltech. In this role, she oversees the growth of Alltech's pet and equine business as a member of the company's larger companion animal team.

Tara first joined Alltech as its quality assurance manager for the Asia-Pacific region. In that role, which was based in Thailand, she led the establishment of production facilities in Thailand, China, India and Vietnam and traveled extensively across Asia. She subsequently joined Alltech’s Mineral Management division, where she provided technical support and offered consultations, both internally and externally, across Asia-Pacific on trace mineral nutrition, with a focus on Alltech’s organic trace mineral range.

In 2018, Tara was named Alltech's global project manager. That role, which was based in Bangkok, combined her previous technical support responsibilities with the management of Alltech’s mineral projects and programs globally. In her current position on the company's companion animal team, she continues to develop and promote solutions and services related to mineral management.

Tara received a degree in animal science and aquaculture from the University of Tasmania in Australia.

From a young age, Dr. Philip Lyons had a passion for all things aquatic. This led to him studying for his undergraduate degree in applied freshwater and marine biology at Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology in Ireland before obtaining master’s and doctoral degrees in fish nutrition from the University of Stirling Institute of Aquaculture in Scotland. His doctoral dissertation focused on the molecular profiling of the gut microbiome of farmed salmonids, and he has published widely on this topic in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

After completing his studies in 2016, Dr. Lyons immediately joined the Alltech Coppens R&D team as a research scientist. His principal responsibilities involved the organization and implementation of the company’s nutritional R&D programs, in which he focused on the advancement of innovative applied aquafeed solutions that improve fish health and performance. He is also passionate about education and supervises a number of undergraduate and postgraduate aquaculture students as part of industry-led academic research partnerships.

In his current position as global manager of aquaculture research, Dr. Lyons is now responsible for the aquaculture research efforts of Alltech worldwide.

Dr. Harriet Walker is the poultry specialist for the Alltech^® Technology Group. Within this role she provides technical support to the sales force and supports and interprets poultry research activities, focusing on providing solutions to optimize animal performance and efficiency.

Before taking this role, Harriet worked in the industry as a poultry nutritionist, developing a solid nutritional and technical knowledge base. She has extensive experience in bird nutrition and management over various farm sizes and poultry types.

Harriet completed her Ph.D. at Nottingham Trent University in 2013, evaluating the gut health and performance of broilers when feeding supplements to reduce antibiotic use, elucidating their mode of action. She also studied animal science at the University of Nottingham, where she completed her third-year dissertation in poultry nutrition in 2009.

Dr. Jon Pretz is a dairy nutritionist at Hubbard Feeds. Over the course of his career, he has conducted extensive research studying strategies for improving forage quality and increasing digestibility, as well as how supplementation with Saccharomyces cerevisiae can affect production parameters. His other research interests include diet optimization, forage management, protocol development, transition cow management and product evaluation.

Dr. Pretz is a member of the American Dairy Science Association and the American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists. While completing his graduate studies, he coached the collegiate dairy cattle-judging teams at Kansas State University and South Dakota State University.

Dr. Pretz holds a bachelor's degree in science and a master's degree in science from Kansas State University and a doctoral degree in dairy cattle nutrition from South Dakota State University.
