New area manager joins KEENAN to strengthen farming profitability in southwest UK
KEENAN is delighted to welcome Chris Chance to the team as area manager for southwest UK
Chris is a seasoned professional in the world of livestock management and fertility. With 18 years of experience at Genus ABS, Chris expertly managed the fertility of 9 herds in the southeast of Cornwall, all while mentoring and training new staff on a national scale.
Throughout his career, Chris has taken on various on-farm roles, from assisting as a herdsman on a 300-head Jersey cow unit to managing a 1,000-cow unit with precision and dedication.
Chris also spent time at Bovine Fertility Improvement Services, providing essential technical support and fertility services directly to farms. Most recently, Chris held a prominent position as an area sales manager at Smaxtec, where he introduced cutting-edge bolus technologies and offered invaluable support to farmers in optimising operations.
With a wealth of experience and a passion for enhancing livestock fertility, Chris is a trusted and respected figure in the industry, continuously driving innovation and excellence in his field.
Given his wealth of experience in the agricultural sector and knowledge of dairy production systems specifically, Chris is an asset to the KEENAN team and KEENAN customers within his area.
Having witnessed first-hand in his previous roles how well the KEENAN diet feeders coupled with the Alltech InTouch advisory team can work on all sorts of different systems, Chris looks forward to supporting the efficiency and profitability of more beef and dairy farmers.
Based in the Cornish town of Bodmin, Chris will be covering Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, Kent, Berkshire and southwest Wales. For any KEENAN enquiries within these areas, please contact Chris on chris.chance@alltech.com.
