Online ‘Shed Talks’ set to explain why agriculture is the key to saving our planet
Alltech Ireland and Agri Aware have teamed up to host a series of AgCredible ‘Shed Talk’ webinars, where expert speakers will discuss a range of topics, including why agriculture is necessary to secure a sustainable future for our planet.
Over five fortnightly sessions, starting on June 16, expert speakers will highlight key research on a range of topics, such as the importance of livestock, the need for a sustainable food system and agriculture’s positive contribution to human health and Irish society.
AgCredible Shed Talks will be fortnightly, beginning on Tuesday, June 16, at 8 p.m.

Other speakers confirmed include Taro Takahashi, Research Scientist, Sustainable Agriculture Sciences Department, Rothamsted Research and Donagh Berry, Director of the VistaMilk SFI Research centre, Research Officer - Statistical geneticist, Teagasc, with more to be announced.
Alltech Ireland and Agri Aware launched the AgCredible Academy to elevate Irish agriculture's story by collaborating with prominent Irish agri-influencers who are passionate about agriculture.
“The topics presented are the pressing issues facing the agricultural industry, the AgCredible Shed Talks will offer the AgCredible ambassadors a unique opportunity to learn the facts agriculture from industry leaders, they can then share these and amplify the positive message agriculture has to tell,” said Cathal McCormack, country manager, Alltech Ireland.
