Alltech Young Scientist - About

Alltech Young Scientist Award

Alltech Young Scientist Award attracts thousands of undergraduate and graduate students from around the world, culminating in the award presentation at Alltech's symposium.

Question: What do Economics, Research, and Marketing have in common?

Answer: Science!

The Alltech Young Scientist Award brings together the world’s brightest scientific thinkers from colleges and universities across the globe. To compete for the top prizes, undergraduate and graduate students are asked to submit a scientific paper on an agriculture topic such as veterinary science, animal nutrition, feeding technology, agricultural management or agricultural economics. Students can also write about environmental trends and how the agricultural industry can best utilize marketing practices.

The program gives students the opportunity to be rewarded for their scientific discoveries and research and to compete internationally at the highest level.

The global competition is held at our headquarters in Kentucky during Alltech's International Animal Health and Nutrition Symposium, which takes place each year in May.

The winners of the undergraduate and graduate Alltech Young Scientist will receive a scholarship of $5,000 and $10,000 respectively, as well as a trophy of recognition. Visit the "Register" tab to sign up for the competition. Registrants are entered into random prize drawings throughout the competition!
